NGC 457 is the brightest open star cluster in  the constellation Cassiopeia and one of the most beautiful objects of its kind in the northern sky. With a brightness of +6.4, it is barely visible to the naked eye, but easy to see with binoculars and a beautiful sight with a telescope.
